1. Overview

Boxlet is a visual micro-journaling app (package com.ncstudio.daybox). This policy describes what data the app handles and why. Boxlet shows no ads and sells no data. The optional Boxlet Pro subscription is billed entirely through the Apple App Store or Google Play — we never see or store your payment details.

2. Using Boxlet without an account

Boxlet works fully without signing in. In that case all of your content (notes, checklists, photos, moods, expenses, links, weather cards) is stored only on your device and never leaves it.

3. Data we collect when you sign in

Signing in with Google or Apple (via Firebase Authentication) enables backup, sync, and sharing with friends. We then store:

• Account data — email address, display name, avatar, and your chosen @handle.
• Journal content — the cards you create (notes, checklists, photos, moods, expenses, links, weather), synced to our servers so your journal is backed up and available for the sharing you configure.

4. Location

Only when you add a Weather card, and only after you grant the location permission, the app sends your device coordinates to our server once to fetch the weather for that day. Coordinates are used for that lookup and are not stored beyond the resulting weather information on the card. Declining the permission leaves the rest of the app fully usable.

5. Sharing between users

There is no public feed. Content is visible only to friends you have explicitly accepted, and only for the card types you enable in Activity Sharing settings. Expense cards are never shared with anyone under any setting. You can unfriend or block another user at any time.

6. Service providers

We use Firebase Authentication (Google) for sign-in, Cloudflare (Workers, D1, R2) to run our server and store synced data, and RevenueCat to validate subscription purchases (it receives your store purchase receipt and an anonymous app user id — never your payment details). These providers process data on our behalf. We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for advertising.

7. Security

All traffic between the app and our servers uses HTTPS (encryption in transit).

8. Data deletion

You can delete your account in the app at Profile › Settings › Delete account. This removes your authentication record, your uploaded media, and your synced database data from our servers. You may also email nghicv.57@gmail.com to request deletion.

9. Children

Boxlet is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

10. Changes

If this policy changes materially, we will update this page and the effective date above.

Boxlet là ứng dụng nhật ký thị giác siêu nhẹ (package com.ncstudio.daybox). Chính sách này mô tả app xử lý dữ liệu gì và vì sao. Boxlet không có quảng cáo, không bán dữ liệu. Gói thuê bao Boxlet Pro (tuỳ chọn) được thanh toán hoàn toàn qua Apple App Store hoặc Google Play — chúng tôi không bao giờ thấy hay lưu thông tin thanh toán của bạn.

2. Dùng Boxlet không cần tài khoản

Boxlet dùng được đầy đủ mà không cần đăng nhập. Khi đó toàn bộ nội dung của bạn (ghi chú, checklist, ảnh, cảm xúc, chi tiêu, liên kết, thẻ thời tiết) chỉ nằm trên máy của bạn và không rời khỏi máy.

3. Dữ liệu thu thập khi bạn đăng nhập

Đăng nhập bằng Google hoặc Apple (qua Firebase Authentication) để bật sao lưu, đồng bộ và chia sẻ với bạn bè. Khi đó chúng tôi lưu:

• Dữ liệu tài khoản — địa chỉ email, tên hiển thị, ảnh đại diện và @handle bạn chọn.
• Nội dung nhật ký — các thẻ bạn tạo (ghi chú, checklist, ảnh, cảm xúc, chi tiêu, liên kết, thời tiết), được đồng bộ lên máy chủ để sao lưu và phục vụ việc chia sẻ do bạn cài đặt.

4. Vị trí

Chỉ khi bạn thêm thẻ Thời tiết, và chỉ sau khi bạn cấp quyền vị trí, app gửi toạ độ thiết bị lên máy chủ một lần để lấy thời tiết của ngày hôm đó. Toạ độ chỉ dùng cho lần tra cứu ấy và không được lưu lại ngoài thông tin thời tiết hiện trên thẻ. Từ chối quyền thì mọi phần còn lại của app vẫn dùng bình thường.

5. Chia sẻ giữa người dùng

Không có bảng tin công khai. Nội dung chỉ hiện với những người bạn đã chấp nhận kết bạn, và chỉ với các loại thẻ bạn bật trong cài đặt Chia sẻ hoạt động. Thẻ Chi tiêu không bao giờ được chia sẻ, bất kể cài đặt nào. Bạn có thể huỷ kết bạn hoặc chặn người khác bất cứ lúc nào.

6. Nhà cung cấp dịch vụ

Chúng tôi dùng Firebase Authentication (Google) cho đăng nhập, Cloudflare (Workers, D1, R2) để vận hành máy chủ và lưu dữ liệu đồng bộ, và RevenueCat để xác thực giao dịch thuê bao (bên này nhận biên nhận mua hàng từ store và một mã người dùng ẩn danh — không bao giờ nhận thông tin thanh toán của bạn). Các nhà cung cấp này xử lý dữ liệu thay mặt chúng tôi. Chúng tôi không bán dữ liệu và không chia sẻ cho bên thứ ba vì mục đích quảng cáo.

7. Bảo mật

Mọi kết nối giữa app và máy chủ đều dùng HTTPS (mã hoá khi truyền).

8. Xoá dữ liệu

Bạn có thể xoá tài khoản ngay trong app tại Hồ sơ › Cài đặt › Xoá tài khoản — thao tác này xoá bản ghi đăng nhập, ảnh đã tải lên và dữ liệu đồng bộ khỏi máy chủ. Hoặc email nghicv.57@gmail.com để yêu cầu xoá.

9. Trẻ em

Boxlet không hướng tới trẻ em dưới 13 tuổi và không cố ý thu thập dữ liệu của trẻ em.

10. Thay đổi

Nếu chính sách này thay đổi đáng kể, chúng tôi sẽ cập nhật trang này cùng ngày hiệu lực ở trên.
